Get excited! Carbondale's beloved Red Hill/Mushroom Rock trail system is getting a makeover! In partnership with the Aspen Valley Land Trust, the Town of Carbondale, CO Recreation Department has recently acquired a piece of land bordering the current trail systems, which means the public will get to use and love what was formerly private property. DHM Design and Singletrack Trails have been working hard to design a trail that benefits our community by taking users off CR 107 to get to the trail head, which on this heavily-used area means a much safer experience for both trail users and drivers. It's hard to hide our stoke about this project, and we hope you're just as pumped to start this momentous trail build. Starting the evening of Tuesday, July 24th and continuing every Tuesday until August 21st, you can help build a BRAND NEW TRAIL on one of Carbondale's most popular trail systems. Arrive any time after 4pm and we'll be working until dusk. Every evening, dinner is provided. We're honored to be partnering with Aspen Valley Land Trust, Bureau of Land Management - Colorado, Red Hill Council, and the Town of Carbondale, CO Recreation Department on this project. This is a fantastic way to be a part of your community and to give back to a trail system that has given us so much. To sign up, please visit rfov.org!
