Faith & Blue Weekend - Free Outreach Event

Town of Carbondale Police Department is joining a national event presented by United States Department of Justice Office of Community Oriented Policing Services (USDOJ COPS) called Faith & Blue.
 
Faith & Blue is a weekend-long event where law enforcement agencies and religious organizations come together to build safer, stronger, just, and unified communities. The focus of this event is for community members and our Carbondale law enforcement team to establish personal connections in a relaxed, fun setting.
 
Carbondale Police Department is partnering with The Orchard Church for two fun filled free events on Saturday, October 9th and Sunday, 10th, 2021.

SATURDAY MOVIE NIGHT, 7PM-9:39PM
Join Carbondale Police Department and The Orchard Church for an outside movie night on the lawn of The Orchard Church. Faith & Blue is an opportunity for law enforcement, community members, and religion based members to come together in a fun filled setting.
Bring coats, blankets, and lawn chairs to enjoy a family friendly movie. We will be providing hot cocoa, popcorn, smores and other goodies for everyone. Mama Peroigi food trucks and a Hot Dog Stand will be selling food.

We are partnering with Family Resource Center to collect donations for winter coats which would provide for families in need.

This is an outside event, but will be moved indoors if it rains.

SUNDAY COMMUNITY BBQ, 11AM-5PM
Join Carbondale Police Department and The Orchard Church for a community BBQ at The Orchard Church. We will be providing burgers, hot dogs, and other snacks. There will be live music! We will have a cornhole boards, bounce houses and other activities for everyone. 

We have partnered with the Roaring Fork School District to host a coat drive for the Resource Center and a fundraiser for funds to benefit Roaring Fork High School Athletics (click here to donate).
