Acting for the Camera is a progressive, interactive workshop designed for beginners, stage actors transitioning to screen, or anyone seeking a thoughtful refresher on on-camera fundamentals. This series focuses on building core skills—like frame awareness and crafting an authentic character —week by week. Through guided exercises and coaching from skilled director and educator, Graham Northrup, participants will develop a strong foundation in camera technique and gain confidence in their ability to perform on screen.

Acting For the Camera W/ Graham Northrup
GRAHAM NORTHRUP (WRITER/DIRECTOR/PRODUCER/COACH) is an award-winning 25-year veteran of stage and screen directing, including features, short films, series, and more. He graduated with an MFA in Directing from Baylor University in 2008, and continues to pursue his love of storytelling in various mediums. As an acting coach and educator, he has taught and mentored youth and adults to performance success for over 2 decades. Former students can be seen in professional stage and screen productions such as ABC’s The Rookie, and Amazon Prime’s Fallout, among others. His feature film, An Aspen Christmas Conspiracy, is currently in distribution for a worldwide 2025 Christmas season release. He is married to the greatest woman in the world, and is the father of 5 wonderfully talented daughters who continually inspire him.
